ABOUT

Mirko Giorgetti (August 31, 1973) graduated in Architecture with honors from the University of Florence in 2003; before graduating he began to frequent various architectural firms, first of all the Benucci Architect studio starting from 1989 and the Archea Associati studio from 1997 to 2001, he also collaborated with Arch.

Guido Giacomo Bondielli in some international projects; in 2003 he opened his own architectural studio which led him to carry out various projects both for the recovery of civilian homes and for new construction on the national territory and abroad.

From 2004 to 2008 he was at the Sannini Project as a technician in the ventilated walls sector which led him, in 2005, to hold two lectures on "terracotta envelopes - Innovative systems for architectural cladding" at the Faculty of Architecture of Florence and the Polytechnic from Milan.

From 2009 to 2013 he was Area Manager Central-Southern Italy at the Teknofloor Company with Technical-Commercial duties in the sector of Raised Floors and Ventilated Facades.

From 2015 to 2020 he has combined his professional activity with that of Project Manager for the company MA.FIN.P. SRL specialized in the tourist-accommodation and housing sector with the task of coordinating the design and construction management of both existing structures and new ones under construction.

Since 2020 he has been associated with the Andrea Piras Engineers studio

He has been photographing for more than 20 years and some of his services have been published in: Casabella, Area, Materia, Arketipo, Sannini Impruneta – Sannini Project catalogue, Teknofloor catalogue. In 2007 he completed a photographic research begun in 1995 on the places of his childhood between the Trasimeno, Chiusi and Montepulciano lakes which culminated in the exhibitions held in the homonymous municipalities.

He has been a member of the Order of Architects of Florence since 01/31/2005 – Registration number n. 6600.

COMPETENCE

The studio's interests and research activities range from the landscape to the city, from buildings to design, from exhibition installations to photographic services, always keeping an eye open on the multiple facets of architecture and building sustainable "architecture". The prerogative is to use natural products both for purely constructive and finishing materials. Primary importance is given to the customer who is followed in every need trying to find in perfect harmony and collaboration the most suitable solution to his objectives, satisfying his taste and proposing innovative solutions both for the design and for the materials proposed.

In addition to the planning / design / accomplishments, the studio deals with:

Consulting/Projects on dry construction systems: Ventilated Facades – Raised Floors;
Energy requalification of buildings;
Real Estate Estimates and Valuations;
Real Estate Marketing;

And in any case everything concerning the "home"/"office" world.
