PUDONG - SHANGAI

2006/2010

ARCHITECT Guido Giacomo Bondielli

VENTILATED FACADES CONSULTING Mirko Giorgetti

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Friend and Master Arch. Guido Giacomo Bondielli for the design of the terracotta ventilated facades of this project. The multipurpose building is located in Pudong (Shanghai), in a rectangular lot with four glass towers - housing a hotel, shopping centers and services - and twenty buildings designed to become offices with similar heights and architectural expressions. The volumes are made with a reinforced concrete skeleton covered at the base with granite slabs and, near the offices, with terracotta elements anchored with mechanical applications using aluminum profiles.
